OKaayy..my first foray into lace knitting...also known as Koigu's Charlottes web shawl...has been rather eventful...the pattern only has written instructions up to row 29!!..the pattern has 150+ rows in it!!...lol...so now I must learn to knit by chart....there has been no coursthip..no taking it slow..no let's to get to know one another,lol...just WAM BAM...come on let's do this...just imagine the look on my face when I realized that the written instructions had turned it's back on me...but being the grown ass Woman that I think I am....I'm dealing....but I may need therapy after Ms.Charlotte has had her way with me......

MY wristsbands arrived today from Stefanie(Glampyre)...we did a trade...I gave her one of my boas...she knit me wristsbands from her stash and stuff she dyed.......bartering rocks!!!lol

MY next works in progress will be...koigu..charlottes web...in shades of red,etc......thank you Matt for hooking up my colorway(threadbearfiberartsstudio)..and also I look forward to the Dredlock bag(from indigirl)......my colorway black ,brown,and camel....simply fabulous!!!....I feel like I'm exploding with creativity....my Freeform book arrive...Prudence Mapstone...which has me inspired!....the drop spindle is still waiting to be played with....there is yarn needing to be dyed,lol...I'm attending Stitches Midwest next month....sooo a whole bunch of new obsessions are in the making...I haven't decided if I'm taking classes yet..I thought that I would just try and take in all the vendors(that may be financially a mistake,lol)... who needs GOOD credit anyway!!

Hooraayyy!!!I have finally finished the shaggy throw!!!..She goes to her new owner tomorrow(will post pics as soon as they are developed)....I'm now working on a boucle shawl for moi....out of yarn won on ebay.......but I feel that koigu charlottes web or gypsy shawl calling my name,lol...now that I have time to knit for myself..I want to do everything....spin..dye..knit socks,dog sweaters,etc...I need to calm my ass down and complete one item at a time,lol...on a totally unrelated note....did anyone catch Queer eye for the straight guy tonight on the bravo channel...LOVED IT..when the one of the guys said to the wife "you got dirty in your own house..that is not a good sign"..I almost fell off the sofa,lol...my new favorite show to knit to....and the advice they were dishing out was surprisingly universal,lol...I feel like redecorating...or at least moving some shyt around.....
