And through it all..she knits....I'm presently working on a lavender and silver mohair wrap..see...

here's a close up of the silver part

it seems I will have a lot concentrated knitting time coming up...it seems that my mother may have ovarian cancer...surgery is two mondays from now..then we will know for sure...so for now I knit....and as all of you know I have a "off" sense of humour ..I can find something funny in anything...today as I wait for my mother is the oncologist office...I'm knitting on this wrap..and I'm wearing a headwrap...and this patient compliments my knitting then asks what cancer am I suffering from(I think the scarf was screaming hairloss,lol..well I hope that it was the scarf that gave that impression...)...I tell her I'm with someone...she asks what Doctor my mom is seeing I tell her the name...she says that she is the best (went to Harvard) yada yada yada and has been written up in magazines...this eases my anxiety a tad....anywho...the nurse tells me that the Doctor wants to talk with me(the anxiety returns)...the Doctor walks in in this super mini skirt( I mean really short) with bare legs(tan) and mules...I'm thinking "THIS" is the cancer Doctor,lol...anyway...she turns out to be super nice(albeit a tad hoochie)...but it's all good...she prescribed anxiety pills for my mother(her blood pressure was way high)..and I ask if she can throw some in for me she says she can't....but she gave my mother 2 refills....)so yall know a sista will be helping herself to the meds...lol

On another note...Locqueen is now LOcLess...yes I have removed my locs..it has been seven years(the spiritual number for completion) and it was time to release them...I think I will start another set in the future but for now I'm rocking a funky fro...

and I'm no longer a redhead...now it's jet black(and I didn't have to shave my head to get my locs out)...and I'm about 70 pounds lighter...so alot of change has been in the air....but it's all good..and will be all good....
