Yeah!!!!...My new knitting machine has just arrived...my new obsession has begun!!!...I feel that a whole new world has just opened up,lol..let's just hope that this love affair has some staying power and that you won't see me posting here that is has been put up for sale on ebay!!lol...speaking of selling ..lately I have been busy working on my rambling rows afghan and making decorative markers...I purchased some from rob when "lil' "t" and I went to visit...he commented that they looked just like my loc adornments that were in my hair...the light bulb ..that is my brain lit up...so I have whipped up a bunch to sell....

lil"t" tell "c" her order is ready,lol........now I can concentrate on completing my Rebecca sweater..I have completed the back and one sleeve....I'm saving the fancy cable work for last,lol...my knitting machine should be arriving shortly...I plan on knitting up a bunch of funky head wraps to sell...it must be spring ..cause I'm feeling like I need a little color in my life....My Mood Du Jour...I'm feeling rather experimental...now onto the enlightenment tip....just finished reading "a shop of her own"...and "the business of bliss"...both are about opening ones on shop and making a living out of what you are passionate about...both books provided info that was right on time....if u have been contemplating making that leap they are both a must read to start you daydreaming into a reality....

Been checking out style .com...I'm always interested in what designers are doing with knitwear..check out the big ole bobbles,lol.....I think I will be knitting up a bobble scarf for next fall,lol... Now check this out...I just came across the pic from designer Issey Miyake..and here's a scarf I knit last year......uh huh..who's psychic,lol...I use to wonder how two designers could have similiar items in their collections... it turns out they all shop at the same resources,lol..but then again they could be employing a mole...I really liked that show last season...the celebrity mole version sucked....my friends think I have Tourettes syndrome..because we will be having a conversation about something...then all of a sudden just blurt out something that has nothing to do with the conversation,lol... example...I was speaking with a friend about relationships...then I blurted out "have you ever thought about being cremated?",lol...she said wth!!!..lol...ok..this whole blog entry just proved their point....


Yarnfiend mentioned Justine Bateman on her blog ..and I had to check her site out...this girl is doing some fierce handknits...I wonder does she knit everything herself? check her out....


.and.......I think I'm ready to purchase a knitting machine...I feel like experimenting yall!!...lol

Okay..my knitting obsession is driving me crazy...the sweater featured below from Rebecca...the yarn is cool it knits up great...it's the instructions that have me straight trippin'...I took the instructions to my lys..the owner who has been knitting since dinosaurs roamed the earth...said she was stumped, she said Rebecca sometimes loses things in translation,lol....HELP!!!!!lol....if my locs weren't sooooo beautiful I would be pulling them out about now!...I guess I will have to wait for One more row(teresa) to save me from baldness....my progress so far... for pete's sake....I'm an overachiever..I made the Dean's list in college...I'm going to finish this sweater..I will,I will !!!

Announcing my new knitting project.......I love this sweater..and the skirt...even though the pattern has me a bit stumped...I will perservere!!!! I will..I will...really!,lol.....I have nothing to fear with LiL"t" guiding me through that wicked landscape we all know as knit pattern lingo...I give all my fellow knit bloggers my solemn promise that I won't quit even though it won't fit( take that Johnny Cochran!!) this sweater is not my size..but hope springs eternal,lol....My new Mantra...I WILL ROCK THIS...I WILL ROCK THIS...I WILL ROCK THIS.....LOL


OK...I think I will be knitting the leg warmers in the new issue of Knitty...the latest issue of Honey Magazine featured leg warmers with heels....I think I need to be featuring a pair with these .....I was just in Nine West..I inquired about a part time job(I use to work part time there for a couple of years a while back)I asked what is the least amount of hours can I work and still get the discount..it's all about the discount!!! I told the Manager that I have stipulations..1)I will only work on my off days from the shop..2) I will only work mornings..3)I won't work over 4 hours....I got my nerve,huh ,lol...suprisingly she was cool with that....the lesson to be learned from my DIVA behaivor...it never hurts to just say what you need,lol...but yall know what?..now that my demands have been met...I don't know if I want to stand on my feet for four hours selling shoes..what I REALLY want is spend four hours BUYING shoes...why can't I get paid for that!!...Locqueen KNOWS shoes!!!..like Bo knows baseball and football(yall remember those commercials)...Ok I digress...lol
